Public consultation report

1208 people engaged in our Whitsun consultation of whom just over half completed surveys. 86% survey responses were supportive of the proposals with strongest interest in accessing the community farm land (74%) and using the training restaurant (60%). A quarter of respondents said they would like to buy or rent a home in the village and significant proportions said they would apply for either an affordable home (15%) or an allotment (18%).

The chief concerns relate to traffic in Truro (22%) and on Morlaix Avenue (21%). Consultees suggested a number of ways in which our proposals might be enhanced and these, along with an analysis of consultation responses are detailed on the following pages.
